We’re super excited that our brand-new uniforms have now been delivered to all hotels!
As you know, we’re on a mission to be the leader in great-value, low carbon hotels in Europe, so when we began looking for a new uniform supplier sustainability was a key factor in our choice. We wanted to find suppliers who could deliver high quality uniforms to all our locations, while keeping low carbon a priority. We want our Team members to feel comfortable in front of our guests so with the uniforms that we have chosen, we have increased the quality of the cloth we’re using (this is now 100% cotton for the polo and 80% cotton for the fleeces).
Ultimately, we looked at lots of different possible suppliers to produce our uniform items, but the brands we have chosen are also aligned with our sustainability pledge as, like us, each of them has worked hard on their low carbon practices. Whether this is through using organic fabrics that reduce environmental impact, or by focussing on durability to minimise waste. This is just one way that we continue to ‘Think Low Carbon’ as we grow.
