New Employee Survey

We will be opening our next Employee Survey soon to give all our team members the chance to tell us what it’s like to work at easyHotel. 

 

We ran our last survey in March and here is an overview of some of the actions we have taken since then:

 

Staff Security

Some of our teams told us they were concerned about security, so we’ve been working hard to improve this.  We have installed new CCTV monitors in Rotterdam and UK sites.

 

We’ve upgraded the Oysta lone working device in the UK Hotels and have launched this new version with new and upgraded devices along with a partnership with G4S, the UK’s largest security company.  We’ve also increased lift security and upgraded the door locking system at Dublin.

 

Uniforms

New uniforms have been issued to all hotels in all regions.  We’d love to hear your feedback on the new uniforms, please take the opportunity to share your thoughts on the survey.

 

Communication

We’re continuing to work on improving communication.  Room for Thought, our monthly business update, is being circulated to everyone in the business and we’ve expanded our easyPeople section to bring you all the latest updates on the teams across the who business.  Please let us know if you have suggestions on how we can make sure important information is reaching the teams.

 

Systems

We know that having the right systems in place is essential to help you do your jobs, so we’ve been working on improving these. 

 

We’re launching a new HR Database in Netherlands and Belgium, which will bring automation to hiring, onboarding and contracting and we’re excited to roll this out to the rest of the estate next year.

 

APALEO is embedded across the group, and we are seeing fewer user issues with the new PMS, so we hope it’s working well for you.  Since the start of the year we have added new SOPs and automated reporting for the HMs.

 

We’ve implemented Freshdesk for IT Support and hope that you are seeing a more efficient service to your IT requests.

 

Mutuelle

We have upgraded the mandatory healthcare (Mutuelle) in France so that employees are getting better value for money on their health provision. 

 

Staff Rates

Staff and friends and family rates have been relaunched as we continue to adapt the scheme to try and make it as accessible as possible to all.
