We’re pleased to announce that we’ve now joined the Refill App. The app has had over 400,000 downloads across Europe and shows users where they can refill their reusable water bottle for free. It’s estimated that this app has helped stop 100 million pieces of plastic being produced as more people make the switch from single use plastic to reusable water bottles.
If your hotel has a water fountain installed, then it should already be listed on the app. If you don’t have a water fountain at your hotel yet, we’ll be adding your hotel to the app once it’s been fitted. When members of the public come into your hotel wanting to refill their bottle, please direct them to the fountain. Anyone walking into your hotel is able to refill their bottle, whether they are staying with us or not.
As well as being a good opportunity for us to introduce our brand to more people, it’s also a good step in our low-carbon journey as we help encourage more people to ditch the plastic in favour of refillable water bottles.
